Editing is a big aspect of photography. When you’re scrolling on your Instagram feed, you’ll often come across an image and instantly know who took it because you recognize his/her style. There are as many ways to edit as there are photographers in the world. Each image you edit should represent your own voice. Enter the Hello Storyteller Edit Me Project!
With several Hello Artists and Pros, we started a fun project to show you how the same image can be edited according to each one’s voice.
Here are the different edited versions of this very same image. Now, see how some photographers played with the framing, the temperature and tint, sometimes working on blown parts of the image, making some details pop out or playing with overlays. So cool!
Are you particularly drawn to one of the edited image? Try to see what you like it and why. We hope to inspire you to find your own voice in photography, and reach out if you need a little help along the way.
I love this! What a fun idea!
What a fun project! Love the differences in contrast and warmth, plus the different crop and the flipped version.
