The Kids Were Here with Christie Cunningham
In This Course…
BECAUSE LIFE ISN’T ABOUT PERFECTION
Introducing a class for a different type of storytelling. Join Hello Pro, Christie Cunningham, as she walks you through her process for creating memories from the messes her kids leave around the house. This idea was inspired during her first year doing a 365 project and stemmed from wanting to create a well-rounded story of her kids’ lives – including their “messes”.
Learn how to change your mindset and see photographic opportunities around your home to better tell your own family story. Set yourself up for success on the days where taking those images just feels too hard or too uninspired, but you know you want to keep documenting and keep remembering, because while the days are long, the years are short.

Christie Cunningham
Hey all! I am a full-time momtographer and part-time professional photographer, in addition to being a graphic designer for a swaddle company (and stay-at-home mom!). I have been married for almost 10 years and have two boys (5 and 3) and two pups. My husband and I live in the town we grew up in to stay near family, but satisfy our wanderlust by journeying to the national parks.
I first dove into photography when I received a camera as a wedding present. I spent a lot of time figuring out my style and what did and didn’t work for me, but started getting into the lifestyle world when I had my oldest and learned that I wanted to capture moments for him, and of him, rather than have a million posed images of him just looking at the camera. This started to translate over to my business and became firmly cemented as my style by the time I had my youngest. I love all things lifestyle and documentary, and I’ve never looked back.
I value my role as the family historian, especially since I have a terrible memory! Photography fills that gap nicely. I love capturing the quirks of the different ages of my kids as they grow up and how these images can transport me back in time when I look through our family year books. Recently, I have discovered a new love of teaching and mentoring within the photography world and I can’t wait to share with you all!
