The Pleiades Dress

My Wondrous Adventurers,

My owner is growing taller and taller, I see the door to the wardrobe open and every time I whisper “please pick me”, before the door closes yet again. Don’t she love me any more I wonder? Then one day in October 2020, the wardrobe door opens and they pick me. My owner Molly, spins around in delight and despite her mum’s words proclaims “it still fits me perfect, I can still wear it”.

We went for a drive to a place where the trees were covered in orange, yellow and green leaves, the sun was shining leaving sparkles on the ground and Molly was dancing carefree around and together we were soaking up this autumn light. Oh how I loved getting out in the free again.

I was washed and gently ironed and unlike before, instead of being placed back in the wardrobe I was folded and put in a bag. I was told I was going on new adventures and that is how my travels began.

I left Norway with so much excitement for what was going to meet me, my first stop was Ireland and then we took a very long journey to Canada before we met lots of lovely photographers across USA. This has been so wonderful, the things I have seen, the places I have been and the beautiful people I met along the way. I truly feel loved. Thank you everyone.
