Hello Creative Self Portrait Project

Movement

Self portraiture takes courage and skill. A photographer can learn a great deal about light, composition, connection, and technical execution by serving as the subject, in tandem with being the artist. 

The Hello Pro Creatives have embarked on a themed self-portraiture project to encourage creativity, sharpen our skills, and enhance our confidence on both sides of the lens. 

This month’s theme was “Movement”. Each artist set out to capture some form of motion, as we stepped into the frame. 

Every decision made, from shutter speed to light to the angle from which the shot is taken, impacts how the story of a subject in motion is communicated to the viewer.
