Tell Us About Yourself!
I’m a mom of two boys aged 12 and 15. We live in a small city in middle Georgia. I have a successful newborn and family portrait business. I love what I do!
How Would You Describe Your Photography Style?
Simple, modern portrait photography
What Inspires You To Create?
My first inspiration was my own children. Photography is a way for me to capture and look back on their childhoods as they grow. I am also inspired by babies. I love capturing artistic, peaceful, beautiful portraits of babies.
What goals are you hoping to achieve as a Hello Artist?
My goals are always to grow as an artist, expand my creativity, and continue to enjoy photographing.

Tell Us About Yourself!
Hello! My name is Élodie and I live in Canada.
I was born and raised in France, worked a bit in UK and China as a student, moved to Germany to finish my degree, met my husband, stayed a few more years, moved to Canada with our cat in our luggage, had 2 boys … and here we are.
I have visited 30 countries, I consider myself a citizen of the world and hoping to raise my children as such. I am the nerd girl who loves her engineering job, knows Harry Potter and the Lion King by heart, and learnt all of the birds names in Quebec to satisfy the curiosity of her 5-years-old.
I’ve started photography when I was 17 years old, my Dad was already a hobbyist himself and gave me my first lessons about exposure, composition and so on. I primarily photographed landscapes during my travels in my 20s, then moved to family photography in my 30s, and then very recently picked up wildlife photography when we moved near a forest. Along the way, I’ve expanded my knowledge of photography through several courses and I can now proudly say that I have been doing photography for more than half of my life. Building a portfolio has helped me strengthen my voice, and I know the journey is the path!
How Would You Describe Your Photography Style?
My creative style is playful and inspires joy. I love movement, silhouettes, blue skies, strong lines and strong compositions (symmetry, negative space, …). It’s bright and colorful, especially in the blue and yellow tones.
What Inspires You To Create?
Nature is my main source of inspiration, the wild landscapes, the wild animals, and of course, my wild kids in the wild nature!
I also love to fuel my inspiration by looking at other photographers’ works, I am very visual and sometimes I like drawing my photo or my concept before actually hitting the shutter.
What goals are you hoping to achieve as a Hello Artist?
I want to continue the path I am on and enhance my skills. I like to push myself out of my comfort zone and learn new techniques. I would love to teach someday, in English or in French, and would like to pursue becoming a Hello Pro. I love having a community here with Hello Storyteller and making connections with other photographers brings me joy. I want to be a cheerleader that helps people with their skills and editing, either directly one-on-one or more widely through HS Blog, maybe editing videos, behind the scenes and Instagram takeovers.

Tell Us About Yourself!
I am a wife and a mother of two (a boy who is 4.5 and a girl who is 2.5). I live in Pinehurst, North Carolina but am originally from Connecticut. I have always loved capturing my life and have ever since I was a teenager. I am a sucker for memories and meaningful objects that remind me of the past. In September 2020, I really started my journey into photography by taking classes online and teaching myself how to use a DSLR camera. I quickly switched to mirrorless after I realized it was going to be the future…. and that my children moved too fast and I needed something with a bit better focus capability. I found myself loving editing first (I have some background with photoshop as a Fashion Merchandising major in college and a brief photography class I took while studying abroad in Italy). But as I have honed my skills and really figured out how to get the look I desire in camera as closely as I possibly can to the end result, I have found myself really loving the click and technical aspects of that even more. I would say that clicked for me only a few months ago, around Halloween 2021, about exactly a year after I started this photography journey.
My kids are my world and I have always thought that raising them would bring me all the happiness I could ever want, but after having my second child (and covid hitting 7 months later), I quickly realized I needed something for myself, I needed an outlet. Photography has become my outlet and even more, my passion. I have to be honest, I am still searching for what I want to do with it. At first I thought I would open a business in my town and be a family photography in my area. But after seeing how much time that can take away from my own family and taking photos of my own children, I have thought more about commercial work or teaching instead. I honestly do not know if I would be a great teacher, but I did not think I would love or be good at gardening ever, and here I am with a full raised bed garden loving it! I love that there are so many possibilities in photography and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to do something I am so passionate about.
How Would You Describe Your Photography Style?
Portrait and Lifestyle photographer. I love light and color with a bit a moodiness.
What Inspires You To Create?
My love for photography and the memories it helps me capture. I love the idea of my children and their children looking back at all of these photo’s I have captured of their lives to remember moments in time that may be lost in their memories.
What goals are you hoping to achieve as a Hello Artist?
I would love to find out what photography has in store for me in the future by getting more involved in communities like Hello Storyteller and learning more about the world of mentoring and teaching. My goal is to really understand what I want to do with my photography and where I fit in in this big world of possibilities!

I’m Ali and I love guacamole, margaritas, chai tea lattes, and sunshine! I’m a California girl living in the rainy Pacific NorthWest. Photography has been a passion of mine since the third grade and I can’t wait to continue learning and growing with it. I especially love it now because it makes me a better (and more calm) mom!

What goals are you hoping to achieve as Hello Pro?
To continue to grow and build relationships within the community, to push my creativity more and help others, Id love to work collaboratively with other Pro’s and teach my own courses. I am also keen to mentor others ( specifically introverts as I think things can be daunting, especially with social media and the importance of showing your face)
In what ways are you involved in the Hello Storyteller community?
I have done some of the HS projects, I am engaged in the Facebook community and will comment on posts that need that extra love and support. I have done more perks and takeovers than I needed to do for the Pro requirement because I have enjoyed doing them and feel good giving my knowledge and time to others.

What goals are you hoping to achieve as Hello Pro?
Mentoring and teaching has been a passion of mine for quite a while now and when I discovered the Hello Pro Creative program, I realized that this was a perfect opportunity for me. I have been really involved with this community over the last couple of years, and I can honestly say I have made some wonderful friends. I believe that this programme needs more positive people as leaders who understand the core values to continue doing great work, and I believe I would make a good addition to the team. I thoroughly enjoy being a cheerleader for people, and I have always been a natural leader so once I am Hello Pro, I can help be a voice for the people who are a little bit different, like me.
In what ways are you involved in the Hello Storyteller community?
Community is everything to me, I regularly get involved in the Facebook community sharing my own work, engaging with others work and also helping those who ask for advice. I regularly engage with the community on Instagram, join in with projects such as seasonal celebrations, individual successes and Hello Creative projects when I can. I also engage as much as I can with the Creative team on Slack as well.
