Most of us originally picked up a camera because we wanted to preserve our memories of our families. The holiday season can be one of the most important and special times for this, but it can also become overwhelming. Where do we start? What traditions matter the most? How should we document them? How can we make it meaningful and magical, but also be PRESENT within the traditions themselves? How do other photographers capture the same thing but in such a beautiful way? What if my images aren’t good enough? What if I forget to capture something. What if I just don’t feel like capturing anything?! Laura addresses all of that and more, including behind-the-scenes information to really make those “trickier” images come to life!
Join Hello Pro Mentor Holly Awwad as she shares her approach to creatively using LIGHT to capture the magic and ambiance of the holiday season! She will cover exposure and low light tips, as well as walk you through indoor and outdoor lighting situations. Holly will discuss how to tackle difficult lighting situations, such as artificial and mixed lighting and how to conquer color casts and grain. Lastly, Holly will share all her tips and tricks of how she magically creates a dramatic scene using bokeh, both in camera and in post production, so you can start creating MAGIC this Holiday Season.
Christmas time is all about the magic and wonder of the season. Join Alyssa as she teaches about how to capture this magical time of year through a child’s perspective and fill WONDER into your images. She shows you how to add touches of magic to your work in Photoshop, how to capture the wonder in camera, and even takes you behind the scenes on a magical Christmas night!
