Hello fellow storytellers, dreamers and creators! Is it really true what they say?

“Creativity is contagious, pass it on.”

We are a group of Hello Storyteller Community members who came up with the idea of a travel project. We wanted to take an object, and pass it on to see how each of us interpreted the item through photography and our own unique creative vision.

At first, we were going to use to use the traditional method of sending an item from one photographer to another. However, with the restrictions of Covid19, postal delays, and the fact that we have International diversity, we chose the option to select a theme and then purchase or use an existing item for the project.

With Autumn coming to an end and winter approaching, it just seemed natural to be inspired by a warm and cozy beanie hat. With neutral colour tones and a multitude of sizes, we all felt inspired.

If you then revert back to the question… “Is creativity contagious?”; The answer simply has to be “YES!”.

From one hat, to a variety of creative minds, we were all inspired to tell stories through our images. It is amazing to see how diverse we all are, and how an artist’s voice shines through in the images. The world as a photographer becomes so much brighter when you can share your passion and have the support of those around you. Creativity is so much more rewarding when you have someone to share your journey with. I hope you all enjoy as you travel with us and our little beanie hats.
