I am a mamma to three girls and a wife to a pilot. We love to travel and explore. We currently live in Hawaii and love everything about it! I started photography in 2012 and quickly made the move to shooting all film. I now shoot all of my work on film and love to help others do the same (if they are interested). I truly believe that every photographer should learn to shoot film even if they don’t chose to use it for their professional work.
I shoot film and I love experimenting. I love trying new stocks and new tricks and I love that everything is permanent and tangible. I play with funky film stocks as well as play with different tricks to add some unique elements. I love color. I love joy and laughter and I love adventurous and wild families.
There are a lot of things. Life in general. Observing the world around me. Getting out and traveling. Right now a huge inspiration for me is surfing. Learning something new and being challenged is really inspiring for me.
I really want to contribute to the group and help others find their unique voice, build confidence in their approach to photography and help people master shooting film if that is something that interests them. I truly love helping and educating others. Especially if I can help them avoid the mistakes I made along the way.
I currently reside in Ontario, Canada with my husband, two kids and our sweet labradoodle. I love waking up to a fresh cup of coffee to start the day, exploring small towns, vintage finds and planning future travels. Dark chocolate is my fave! I fell in love with photography when I purchased my camera to take pictures of my kiddos. I couldn’t have imagined then that my love of photography and creative editing would become so strong. It’s definitely my passion and something that has become such a significant part of me.
I love adding a little magic to my images through post-processing and also shooting in low light. I’m drawn to capturing the magic of childhood and finding beauty in the seemingly ordinary human moments. I use my lens and creative editing to help bring out the inner beauty and magical force that exists within.
My first inspiration has to be my two children. Capturing childhood moments and all the little details that I hope to never forget always brings me back to my camera. I’m in awe of the beauty of nature that surrounds us and also the beauty in simplicity. I’m inspired to capture the moments that are oft overlooked.
I would love to connect with more creatives while continuing to grow as an artist. I’d also love to help other artists push themselves creatively (no matter where they are on their photography journey) and achieve their goals. I wish to pursue teaching and I’m very interested in the 1:1 mentoring through Hello Storyteller
I am a Black woman with two boys and a wonderful Mexican husband. I went to BYU and received a BA in film studies (though I wrote as much as an english major). I am an extrovert, I’m always hanging out with somebody. I write blogs on the side for SAAS companies as well as do UI/UX work. I don’t often get to brag about my kids online because it feels so inauthentic, but they are literal geniuses. Like no joke, my husband has a genius IQ and my boys seem to be smarter than him! I am trying to decided if I want a third kid, but I am the meanest pregnant lady around. If you would like to know how I am when I am pregnant, watch this video.
I got married when I was 19 and don’t regret it one bit, but I would never recommend it! Ha! Anything else you want to know, ask! I am a pretty open book.
Colorful, calm, emotive.
My kids; I always want to remember what I saw in that specific moment. That’s why I edit colorful and kid focused. I see life through a colorful lens and my kids are the only thing I usually see.
I would love to mentor and strengthen my community through Hello Pro.
I am a mom and wife and the only female in the household (including my pup). I love to travel and would love to go out of the country, but I am so happy staying on the west side of Michigan for most of my vacations. I am a part time professional photographer and a part time designer and photographer for The Swaddle company. I love to dapple in multiple versions of creativity like, graphic design, scrapbooking, home decorating, drawing, painting and photography.
Lifestyle/Documentary
My kids- naturally. But colors, moments and places.
I would love to grow as a photographer and mentor for people interested in lifestyle and documentary. I’m not very good at directing people or giving constructive criticism. I would love to grow in confidence as well and maybe do some courses in the future.
