Hello! I’m Megan! A follower of Jesus, mother of three busy boys, wife to my high school sweetheart, registered nurse, homemaker, obsessed with dramatic skies, a farm girl, and professional photographer. I have had a passion for photography since I was very young. Over the last ten years, God has taken me down many paths. All the paths keep me coming back to what I really love to do–capturing authentic moments, emotion, belly laughs, personality, and seasons of life through images.
Capturing moments that tell a story and hold emotion. I love capturing big skies, open prairie, and finding uniqueness in the landscapes that surround me to help add detail to the story being documented.
Emotion and moments. I truly love capturing families and authenticity to create something artistic for them to keep as a reminder of that season of life.
I absolutely love teaching and pouring into other photographers! My goal would be to further my role as an educator in this industry.
Hi! I’m Jennifer. I am a visual storyteller and a keeper of memories. I am also a mom of two adorable kids and wife to my best friend. Grace, coffee and dry shampoo are essentials in my life, and you will always find me with some type of camera in my hand. I have loved photography since I was a child, burning through film and disposable cameras faster than my allowance could keep up. I had wanted to be a painter, capturing the beauty and light in the most magical way – and for me, my camera became my tool to do so. I started my business back in 2010, and specialized in families and newborns. After becoming a mom myself, the business had to be put on hold, and I started documenting my own family. Children grow up so fast, and the time we have with them is never enough – and I became captivated on documenting every memory I could with them. From the big moments and milestones, to the mundane of everyday life. Photography combined with motherhood has made me slow down and appreciate each and every moment. I want the photographs I take to tell a story – whether it is the story of my family, or a client – my photos are how I see the world around me, the memoirs of a life well lived. I live in southwest Florida, and am blessed to be surrounded by family and friends. My family and I love the outdoors – fishing, boating, the beach, or just exploring the world around us. I draw most of my inspiration from my kids, but am always learning and looking for new ways to be inspired. I do my best to appreciate every day, find the magic all around, and document my beautiful chaos, one photo at a time.
Mainly lifestyle. Though I love studio and creative edits along with conceptual photography. I used to specialize in family and newborn photography before I had my kids and life got crazy.
My kids are my biggest inspiration, though my love started with nature photography. I love combining the two. I also am inspired by thinking outside the box and creating images that go beyond the camera.
I hope to inspire other photographers and be inspired. To continue to grow as an artist while helping others explore their love and passion for photography. I love connecting with other creatives and would love to eventually teach what I have learned and continue to learn. Especially sharing my love of creative editing and documenting childhood.
Hello! I’m Michelle, Born in the USA raised in Mexico and raising my family in Texas. I am married to my best friend and a mother of two adorable kids. My photography journey started 5 years ago. Capturing my toddler’s milestones it began with sleepless nights so I could learn how to edit and use my camera. My weekends were spent scouting for locations to take pictures of my toddler at the time. I’m a creative by nature that always seeks an outlet. That is remodeling my house, sewing, designing accessories and outfits for my kids. All with the goal of storytelling our lives through my camera. I’m canon girl who specializes in natural light lifestyle photography and self portraits. My photos are a representation of my life at a moment in time. Those moments are meant to be kept forever. Not only for my children but also for all our future generations.
Moody, vintage, and creative!
I will say my kids are my biggest inspiration. But I also get inspired by all the amazing photographers I follow.
One of my goals will be to get out of my comfort zone, and grow doing what I love to do. Also teaching other mom togs what I know has been a dream for a while now.
I have always had a lifelong interest in photography. My mother sadly passed away when I was still young and as a result I pursued a career in healthcare. I re-discovered photography after the birth of my children and four years ago on my daughters 1st Birthday I bought my first camera. Driven by a desire to record and document all the details of this special time in our lives. My love for photography has grown and developed more than I ever could have imagined. I love to tell stories through my images and I am honoured to have become an Hello Pro Creative. I am excited to see what the future will hold as I know I have a lot more to learn and a lot to give to this community.
I am in love with everything from the 1950s and I think this shows in my style. I like my images to be nostalgic – to be as relatable today as what they would have been 50 years ago or 30 years into the future. I want to tell stories but timeless stories. I want to show childhood in all its messy, raw, innocent, fun and chaotic glory. I hope that comes across in my photos.
Hands down it is my family and my children. Ive always had a lifelong interest in photography but never actually bought a camera until I had my children. Thats when I completely fell in love with capturing their childhood. Within six weeks of buying my first camera I left my job for the health-service and went back to college to study photography. My children have grown so much in these last four years and I feel so privileged that I have been able to capture and persevere some of the most amazing memories for them. They are the driving force in everything I do. There is so much beauty in simple everyday moments when children are involved.
I hope that I can grow as an artist. I bought my first camera four years ago and in that time Ive come this far but I know I have more to learn and more to give. I am excited to see where this journey will take me. I know I will be inspired by this community and its members. I would love to mentor and contribute to blogs etc.
To actually pin point when my photography journey started is tricky. I had an interest in taking pictures when me and my husband lived in South Africa 9 years ago but had no knowledge in editing, composition, lighting and all the elements of it. I continued to take pictures as we had children but never grow in it or took any courses. Fast forward to 2 years ago I actually pushed myself to invest in my passion. I have taken courses and read so many books. My only regret is I didn’t start earlier.
I would describe my style as emotive and authentic. I’m a freelens and lensbaby enthusiast and I love the storytelling that comes with creative focus and those dreamy blurs. My whole heart belongs to BW images. I find they evoke so much depth and passion.
Our story. Our life. I want to be able to capture these fleeting moments and look back on this beautiful life. I love the details of my children. The details of our life. I want to remember that.
First and foremost I love the photography community and what it brings. I love how so many are beyond encouraging and supportive in this creative field. I would be thrilled to be able to get more involved and help collaborate with other artists and to hopefully teach breakouts down the road. I’m thirsty for knowledge and growth within Hello Storyteller.
